THE BRAND
Founded by an Immigrant, Mazamio embraces the testaments of a bygone era, a blend of retrofuturistic ideals and rebellious tenacity within the matrix of society.
The core of our brand is rooted in the concept of Retro-Futurism, which explores the themes of tension between past and future. it can be summarized as: the future as seen from the past and the past as seen from the future.
There used to be an era where we would dream of how amazing the future would be, how will technology help us better our lives and enhance our appreciation for beauty. It is through this concept that we believe in making the future look like the future through our creations. We aspire that when you wear Mazamio, you feel that you are time-travelling.
We believe in an ethic that you will always be remembered through our silhouettes because you dare. You dare to be a dreamer in a world where everyone looks and feels the same. You dare to make the future look like the future.
About Mazamio
WHERE IT IS MADE
We make our Eyewear with one of the oldest and most experienced manufacturers in Shenzhen, China. A city known for its innovation in technology (home of tech giants such as DJJ and Huawei) and dearness to experiment through its retro-futuristic architecture.
We had the pleasure to tour the factory the past September 2024. All images are taken by our photography team and cellphones during this visit.

WHO MAKES IT & HOW WE MAKE IT
Our eyewear is crafted by experienced professionals in a work environment that enhances creativity, precision and overall flourishing. Comfortable workspace, access to natural light with wide windows and appropriate temperature are just some of the aspects that build this environment.
Each employee at the factory works 5 days a week from 9 to 6 with a 1-hour lunch break without including 10 minute breaks to clear the mind. Most of the employees live close to the factory which allows them to have a close commute.

ATTENTION TO DETAIL
Handcrafted with the finest custom Italian acetate, we specifically craft & hand polished each eyewear piece with an 6 to 8mm thickness in order to give “a feel” to every single piece you are wear, but most importantly a reminder that everything you need is your vision.
